Part time Guest Service Associate- Cannabis

Primary Responsibilities

• Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis
• Correctly assist with weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products, as required
• Educate customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products
• Check customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age
• Process customers' payments using the dispensary / retail's POS system
• Keep abreast of new additions to our cannabis product line as well as the latest industry trends through training and research
• Ensure the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times
• Take inventory of cannabis products and ensure that the sales floor is adequately stocked
• May participate in periodic dispensary cleaning duties including break rooms, bathrooms, sweeping etc.
• Able to review and follow company SOPs based on the CCC Regulations for the State of Massachusetts
• Engage and support GMF’s marketing initiatives

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer facing experience in the Retail or Hospitality Industries
• Comfortable working with computers, preferably retail POS systems
• Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system in the human body
• Preferred: Ability to speak more than one language (preferably Spanish)

Skills

• Foundational understanding of sales and upselling of products

• Adapt schedule to work alongside the changing demands
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Must pass all required background checks
