Part- Time Groundskeeper

About the role

A Groundskeeper works with the District Manager and store teams to ensure the upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties according to clean and operational standards. This is an outdoor, labor-intensive role involving landscaping and maintenance duties across multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. The position requires the use of tools, hardware, chemicals, and other equipment to complete the work.

Schedule

Wed, Thu, Fri / 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM (days can be negotiable between Tue - Sat).

Majority of work will be at Liberty Lake and Spokane locations, with occasional trips (no more than twice per month on average) to Nine Mile and Deer Park.

Responsibilities

• Learns skills necessary to complete the job.
• Communicates project status and follow-up dates to the District Manager.
• Maintains facility grounds (landscaping, parking areas, etc.).
• Maintains facility systems (lights, gates, security systems, etc.).
• Maintains facility structures (fences, doors, etc.).

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required).
• Groundskeeping or maintenance experience (required).
• Experience with hand and power tools (required).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in urban and rural environments.
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives.

Pay

$22–$23 per hour.
