About the role
The Part-time Ground Support Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional 5-star customer service to passengers, crew, and visitors at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) in Teterboro, NJ. This role serves as a key point of contact, providing a warm welcome and professional assistance both inside the FBO and on the ramp.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist passengers and crew arriving at and departing from the FBO, while coordinating customer requests and supporting internal teams.
- Follow all applicable procedures, policies, and safety requirements.
- Provide professional, attentive service throughout the FBO, ramp, and street-side areas.
- Deliver proactive concierge-style support during customer arrivals and departures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Jet Aviation’s services and related offerings.
- Stay informed about local and regional hotels, dining, transportation, entertainment, and events to support customer needs.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Hospitality or a related field, or 2–3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the aviation industry or a related field, such as hospitality, is preferred but not required.
- Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity when working in diverse environments.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Able to obtain an airport ID badge within 30 days of employment.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, including overhead.
- The role frequently requires standing, walking, and sitting, and may occasionally require climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- The employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. Hangar and ramp environments may involve exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the season.

Pay
The hourly rate for this non-exempt position is $22.00, which is equivalent to approximately $45,000 annually.
Schedule
Sunday and Monday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
