Part-Time Grocery Team Member

Schedule

• Part‑time, approximately 24 hours per week
• One weekend shift required each week
• Monday 10:00 – 4:30
• Friday 10:00 – 4:30
• Saturday 2:00 – 8:30

Pay

Hourly Pay: $15.00 – $17.00

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers
• Receive and stock all dry goods, ready‑to‑drink beverages, household, and bulk items
• Handle product according to time and temperature guidelines
• Rotate back stock on a first‑in‑first‑out basis
• Collaborate with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate, up‑to‑date product signage throughout the department
• Follow KWF inventory management practices
• Assist the front end by scanning groceries and completing transactions efficiently
• Carefully and efficiently bag groceries

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older
• Full range of senses (vision, hearing, smell) to read labels, distinguish colors, and assess quality
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects up to 50‑75 lb frequently (boxes, cans, tools, etc.)
• Capability to stoop, squat, and kneel to pick up items from shelving and carts
• Ability to walk short distances and stand for prolonged periods
• Work environment is movement‑based, requiring frequent walking and standing
• Ability to work in cold environments (coolers, freezers, back‑stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods
