Part-time GOAT Bartender

About the role

The Bartender position at Saddlebrook Resort offers an opportunity to deliver memorable hospitality to guests, focusing on genuine connections and engaging service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
• Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Aid guests with concerns to ensure their satisfaction
• Finalize the experience by presenting bills accurately and promptly
• Requisition and stock of all beer, wine, spirits
• Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard recipes
• Inputs orders into a register and creates checks for each guest
• Locks up and stores all beverages, food, and other equipment items
• Deposits cash drops and secures bank

Requirements

• Engaging and welcoming personality
• Current bartenders' certification or appropriate license
• Knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology
• Descriptive and skilled in selling
• At least 2-4 years of bartender experience
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Excellent communication skills
