Part Time--General Laborer Sanitation--with $10 per hour premium

Schreiber requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In the event an applicant does not have current work authorization, Schreiber will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization.

About the role

Responsible for performing major clean-up, sanitizing, and set-up of equipment on all plant production lines. Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Each partner is responsible for monitoring and reacting to Food Safety and Quality Requirements. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Prote Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written instructions
• Operate power cleaning and sanitizing equipment
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting using proper lifting techniques
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Learn new process systems as they evolve
• Complete required paperwork
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Team Advisor
• Work in wet and humid conditions
• Work around ammonia systems, acid systems, steam systems, and high voltage while knowing safeguards against accidental exposure to fumes, live steam, and/or shock
• Wear safety shoes, hairnet, and hard hat at all times
• Wear gloves, goggles, face shield, ear protection, and/or gas mask as needed
• Be flexible to work different shift hours as needed

Pay

Starting pay for General Part-Time Sanitation is $18.51 per hour, plus a $10 per hour sanitation premium and a $2 per hour night differential.

Schedule

Sanitation shifts typically start at 7pm on Saturday nights.
