About the role

The Lodge at St. Edward Park is a newly opened hotel located in one of Washington's most-visited state parks. The hotel offers 84 distinguished guestrooms and suites, a farm-to-table restaurant, two bars, a full-service spa, a fitness center, and more. The hotel is situated in a historic seminary and is surrounded by a beautiful natural setting, including Lake Washington and walking trails.

Responsibilities

  • Multitask and handle guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including room credits, keys, and guest issue resolution.
  • Manage guest issues effectively, maintaining both guest needs and business objectives.
  • Operate the PBX and Radio paging system according to procedures.
  • Establish appropriate credit at time of guest check-in and familiarize guests with the property's services and areas.
  • Conduct adequate follow-up with both guests and fellow team members.
  • Make restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations on behalf of the guest.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in cash handling and computerized Point of Sale system preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Qualifications

Eligibility of perks is dependent upon job status. Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 to $22.00 DOE. Skills

Knowledge of the front desk, efficient handling of check-in and checkout processes, familiarity with property management systems, operation of PBX and Radio paging systems, strong written and verbal communication skills.
