The Hampton Inn Santa Monica is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Agent to greet and register guests, handle check‑outs, and deliver outstanding guest service while contributing to the hotel’s financial profitability. Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting/retrieving information, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys.
• Assist guests with check‑out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, using the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit/debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information (room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area, general product knowledge) and answer guest questions.
• Use up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Field guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or high‑volume customer‑facing industry.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent computer skills and a team‑spirit mindset.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction to create memorable experiences.

Pay

Highly competitive wages of $22.96 per hour.
