About the role
Monadnock Humane Society is looking for a compassionate part-time Foster Care Coordinator to help connect animals with safe, nurturing foster homes. In this role, you’ll serve as an important connection between foster families, shelter staff, and animals in need.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate foster placements
- Welcome and support foster providers
- Monitor vaccination and deworming schedules
- Conduct new and annual foster home inspections
- Maintain accurate records
Requirements
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professionalism, sound judgment, courtesy, and tact
Qualifications
- Experience with animal handling, shelter environments, or people-focused programs is preferred
