Part-time Food Service Worker

About the role

Our client is seeking a Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of a fast-paced environment supporting various culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellent customer service which will align successfully in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Open and close units efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
• Prep, cook, and portion food following established recipes.
• Stock food and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
• Serve customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform cleaning tasks and wash dishes by hand or using a dish machine.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
• Commitment to following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Must adhere to the dress code: black pants and non-slip shoes; shirt provided by PSU must be tucked in.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $17/HR
• Shift: M-F 10a-2p OR 7p-11p
• Location: Altoona, PA
