Responsibilities

Tasks include food prep, serving/cashiering, and clean-up. All new hires will begin at the substitute rate of $18.04/hour and if a permanent position is desired, once fully trained and a suitable permanent position has been determined, your pay rate would increase depending on the location.

Requirements

• This is a 10 month (summers off), Monday through Friday position with nights, weekends, holidays, and school vacations off.
• The hours are 3.75 hours per day (typically between 10:00 – 1:45 p.m.).
• Good communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, and lift up to 50 lbs. are required.

Qualifications

• Employees are eligible for a $100 uniform allowance and a yearly bonus based on hours worked as well as Connecticut Paid Sick Leave time.
• No medical benefits and you must pass a criminal background check.
• Kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Pay

• Starting salaries are $18.04/hour for substitutes, $19.87/hour for elementary part-time employees and $18.49/hour for middle & high part-time employees.
