About the Role

As a Food Service Aide, you’ll assist with food preparation, delivery, kitchen cleaning, and other duties while providing restaurant-style dining for residents and their families. This role offers opportunities to interact with residents and showcase your culinary skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality, including proper dating, labeling, and storage.
- Use proper food handling techniques.
- Scrape, stack, wash, and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and remove broken or chipped items from use.
- Wrap flatware as needed.
- Transport and store dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans properly to maintain sufficient quantities for meal service.
- Clean and sanitize the dish machine, dish room, and trash cans.
- Keep work areas clean, uncluttered, and complete assigned cleaning duties.
