Part-Time Financial Services Specialist – Sundance Square Location

About the role

Responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as cash handling, cash drawer balancing, processing transactions, granting access to Safe Deposit Boxes, assisting clients with account inquiries, account maintenance (name changes, address updates, product changes), and assisting in account openings when necessary. Presents and explains bank products and services to customers and assists in meeting their financial needs. Resolves customer requests and questions promptly, courteously, and professionally. Ensures compliance with regulations, bank policies, and safety and security procedures. Performs other tasks as required or assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash handling and cash drawer balancing
• Process financial transactions
• Grant access to Safe Deposit Boxes
• Assist clients with account inquiries and maintenance (e.g., name changes, address updates, product changes)
• Assist in opening accounts as needed
• Present and explain bank products and services to customers
• Resolve customer requests and questions promptly, courteously, and professionally
• Ensure compliance with regulations, bank policies, and safety and security procedures
• Handle day-to-day customer service issues

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is required
• Previous teller experience preferred
• Expertise in computer skills, including a thorough understanding of bank technology systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software products
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to balance several ongoing projects and customer relationships simultaneously
• Strong oral and written communication skills for building relationships with internal and external customers
• Problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel to other locations based on staffing needs
