Theatre and Visual Arts

The Theatre and Visual Arts Department at Fordham University periodically hires part-time, non-tenure-track (NTT) faculty to teach introductory and upper-division courses in the following areas: Art and Engagement, Built Environment, Film and Video, Graphic Design, Painting and Drawing, and Photography.

• Based on scheduling needs as well as the qualifications and availability of the applicant.

Part-time NTT instructors at Fordham are represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and certain terms of employment, including minimum per-course rates and details concerning benefits, are set by the Adjunct Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a terminal degree in their respective fields. The position will require the successful candidate to teach up to, but not exceeding, two undergraduate courses per semester.
