Part-Time Faculty: Visual Arts

Part-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in the Theatre and Visual Arts Department at Fordham University. Instructors are represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), with employment terms—including minimum per-course rates and benefits—governed by the Adjunct Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.

About the role

The Theatre and Visual Arts Department periodically hires part-time NTT faculty to teach introductory and upper-division courses in the following areas:

• Art and Engagement
• Built Environment
• Film and Video
• Graphic Design
• Painting and Drawing
• Photography

Courses are taught in person at either the Lincoln Center Campus in Manhattan or the Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx, based on departmental needs. The Visual Arts Program serves a diverse student body across both campuses.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to two undergraduate courses per semester.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in the respective field.

Pay

$9,050 per course.
