About the Role
National University, a veteran-founded, San Diego-based nonprofit, invites applications for a part-time University Clinical Supervisor position in the Department of Psychology, JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences. This remote role works closely with the Academic Program Director and other faculty to ensure program quality, student engagement, and success.
Responsibilities
- Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities.
- Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
- Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals).
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
- Ensure students meet course deadlines within the synchronous time.
- Meet synchronously with students each week during an established clinical course time.
- Meet synchronously with local clinical supervisors and authorized site representatives at least once per course for each student.
- Maintain open communication with the Clinical Administrative Team and Program Leadership.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or related disciplines from a regionally accredited university (MA/MS preferred).
- Independent licensure as a marriage and family therapist.
- Previous clinical supervision experience.
- Approved AAMFT Supervisor or AAMFT Supervisor Candidate.
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level or field teaching experience.
- Experience teaching online and/or onsite for a diverse student body.
Pay
Hourly compensation range: $26.63 - $28.89.
