About the role

The Part-time Faculty - Surgical Technology position at St. Charles Community College (SCC) is for the SP2026 semester. This position is made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.

Responsibilities

• Teach the interactive surgical technology curriculum in the Surgical Technology lab.
• Adapt course assignments to meet the needs of the semester.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Certified Surgical Technologist certification.
• A minimum of an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room or teaching in a surgical technology program, or a combination of the two.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology from an accredited program and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room or teaching in a surgical technology program, or a combination of the two.
