Part Time Faculty - Psychology

Part-Time Faculty position in the School of Liberal Arts, teaching face-to-face, online (synchronous and asynchronous), and hybrid courses.

About the role

The School of Liberal Arts is seeking part-time faculty to teach at least one course per semester in one or more of the following areas: Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and/or Abnormal Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Assess student progress in meeting learning objectives through formal and informal assessment.
• Meet required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other requested information.
• Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Two years of teaching experience.
• Experience teaching in online (synchronous and asynchronous) and hybrid formats.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Residency in Maryland or one of the following states: Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.

Pay

$3,510 to $3,789 per course.

Schedule

Varies based on class schedule and assigned duties. Position requires regular in-person presence on campus and at alternative locations.
