About the role
Teaching Process Technology Courses in CPET Incumbent Worker Program.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Process Technology using various delivery methods.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed for evening and weekend classes.
- Assignments may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
- Teach courses at CPET, potentially on other campuses or at external training sites.
Requirements
- A (or higher level) degree in an appropriately relevant field AND five (5) years of relevant industry experience, OR
- Ten (10) years of industry experience in an appropriately relevant field, OR
- Hold a licensure/Certification or relevant experience leading to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in relevant craft courses in higher education.
- Prior experience as a trainer for an employer in an appropriately relevant field.
- Certification/Licensure within specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases if applicable.
