Part-Time Faculty - Pipfitting - CPET

About the role

Teaching Pipefitting Courses in CPET Incumbent Worker Program.

Responsibilities

• Teach Pipefitting courses using various delivery methods.
• Work evenings and possibly weekends as needed.
• Assignments may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
• Teach courses at CPET, potentially on other campuses or external training sites.

Requirements

• A (or higher level) degree in an appropriately relevant field AND five (5) years of relevant industry experience, OR
• Ten (10) years of industry experience in an appropriately relevant field, OR
• A licensure/Certification or relevant experience leading to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in relevant craft courses in higher education.
• Prior experience as a trainer for an employer in an appropriately relevant field.
• Certification/Licensure within specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases if applicable.
