Part-Time Faculty Recruitment

About the role

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time (up to 67%), substitute, temporary, or hourly assignments on an as needed basis. Part-Time faculty applications will remain in the pool for one year.

Responsibilities

• Teach at the main campus, online, and at off-campus sites located at Fort Irwin.
• Assignments are at the discretion of the District.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience OR an associate degree in supply chain technology, automated systems technician, mechatronics or related discipline AND six years of professional experience related to the field.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Demonstrated proficiency in teaching at the community college level.

• Unofficial copy of transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of Higher Education verifying educational degrees (official transcripts required upon offer of employment).
• Foreign transcripts must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency by one of the following agencies: AICE, NACES, AERC, ERES, IERF.
• A copy of the evaluation must be attached to each application package.
