Part-Time Faculty - Physical Therapist Asst (South)

About the role

Part-time faculty positions for teaching Physical Therapy Assistant related coursework are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees and are hired on an "as needed" basis for the duration of the specified course.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Therapy Assistant related coursework using various delivery methods based on teaching area and student/college needs.
• May require physical presence at the assigned on‑site work location.
• Assignments may include evening and/or weekend classes.
• Work for the duration of the course as specified.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy or a related discipline.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent work experience in Physical Therapy and/or administration and practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay

Salary Grade: AH; salary is based on the Board‑approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year (see Salary Schedule).

Schedule

• Part‑time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and work for the duration of the course.
• Assignments may include evening and/or weekend classes.
