Part-Time Faculty - Physical Therapist Asst (South)

About the role

Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Physical Therapy Assistant related course work.

Requirements

• Must have an Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy or related discipline.
• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
• Must have at least three (3) years of recent work experience in Physical Therapy and/or administration and practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Skills

• Ability to teach Physical Therapy Assistant related course work.

Pay

Salary Grade: AH
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule

Schedule

A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.
