Part-Time Faculty: MFT 761 Practicum in Marriage and Family Therapy (Summer 2026)

About the role

Marriage and Family Therapy is seeking a part-time instructor to teach MFT 761, SEC M003 and M005: Practicum in Marriage & Family Therapy II in the Summer 2026. Classes run May 11 to August 14, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group systemic/relational clinical supervision for a practicum lab section with a maximum of 5 students.
• Determine and assess progress toward students’ clinical goals, review and sign supervisees case documentation and tracking logs.
• Document in writing and share concerns with supervisee. Provide reports of concerns to the MFT department as needed.
• Complete end of the semester evaluations in collaboration with supervisees and report on progress to the MFT 761.
• Provide supervision coverage one evening per week in the Couple and Family Therapy Center.

Qualifications

• MA or PhD
• Supervision experience
• LMFT in NYS, Approved Supervisor or Approved Supervisor Candidate
