Part-Time Faculty, Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. Our college values passionate and energetic educators who bring enthusiasm and dedication to our students.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format based on the approved course outline.
• Select and utilize a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to address all learning modalities.
• Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
• Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course outline.
• Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity for concerns and actively involving them in classroom discussions and/or activities.
• Make arrangements for equipment and supplies, or other activities as needed.
• Complete all course assessments as required.
• Use technology to enhance the teaching/learning in the classroom.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Current ASCP-BOC U.S. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist.
• Three years clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field.
