Part-Time Faculty - Economics (SJC Online)

About the role

Teaching Economics related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available for San Jac Online. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using online delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. All San Jac Online faculty should reside in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Teach Economics courses using online delivery methods.
• Adapt instruction to the teaching area and student needs.
• Work for the duration specified by each course as part-time faculty hired on an as‑needed basis.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Economics.

Pay

Salary Grade: AH; salary is based on the Board‑approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year (see Salary Schedule).

Schedule

Part‑time faculty are hired on an “as needed” basis and work for the duration of time specified by the respective courses.
