This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty (up to 67%) or temporary substitute assignments on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics OR bachelor’s degree in physics or astronomy AND master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, meteorology, or geophysics OR the equivalent.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Submit your request for equivalency only if your education and/or experience differ but are equivalent to the stated minimum qualifications.
• Some specialized courses may require specific certificates (must meet minimum content requirements specified by outside/other agencies based on accreditation).
