About the Role

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time (up to 67%), substitute, temporary, or hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Applications are accepted continually, and departments will refer to the pool as needed to fill temporary assignments. Applicants remain in the pool for 12 months.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in anthropology or archaeology OR bachelor’s degree in either of the above AND master’s degree in sociology, biological sciences, forensic sciences, genetics, or paleontology OR the equivalent.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
  • Minimum qualifications follow guidelines set by the Academic Affairs Division of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. View the handbook here.
