Part-Time Facility Monitor (CA)

This position is responsible for the daily setup of equipment, cleanliness, and overall functionality of the club facilities. The candidate must have exceptional customer service skills, be able to constantly move and arrange equipment, and maintain a strong focus on facility cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in functions and duties relating to the operation and maintenance of facilities.
- Perform daily, hourly setup of tables, chairs, and other equipment.
- Clean gym equipment and facilities daily.
- Verify resident eligibility for facility use.
- Assist the Recreation Assistant/Front Desk during lunch periods and high-volume request times.
- Support lifestyle events, including setup, trash removal, teardown, and food/beverage service.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations.
- Learn and use the onsite client reservation system (Activenet).
- Process work as assigned and assist homeowners in person or by telephone.
- Answer multiple phone lines, screen and refer callers, and provide detailed responses regarding association programs and activities.
Requirements
- Ability to move equipment safely and quickly.
- Ability to recognize and address areas needing additional cleanliness.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
- Ability to handle competing priorities, deadlines, and a high volume of tasks within specified time frames.
- Self-motivated to seek additional responsibilities.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement association rules and regulations.
- Ability to work with confidential material.
- Ability to handle aggravated clients in a calm and professional manner.
- Ability to maintain a clean work area and present a professional manner in dress and demeanor.
- Valid California Driver’s License and State-mandated vehicle insurance.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
Schedule
Weekends, holidays, evenings, days, and a monthly rotating schedule.
