Part-time Facility Maintenance Worker

Position Summary

Since 1967, Jet Aviation has been crafting flight in its smoothest form. The Part-time Facility Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, efficient working environment across Jet Aviation’s West Palm Beach, FL office location. This role includes cleaning the office areas, removing debris, and ensuring all spaces are orderly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal utilization and appearance of all facility areas, tenant spaces and common areas. Including routine cleaning, waste removal, and ensuring all spaces are organized.
• Remove and dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Move and relocate equipment, furniture, and other materials as needed.
• Perform painting and touch-up work when needed.
• Assemble furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Complete general light maintenance and facility support tasks.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, while assisting in maintaining a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in facility maintenance, custodial services or a similar role preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with basic hand tools.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English, with strong verbal and reading skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules hours, including day or night shifts.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Benefits

This part-time position will be operating 4 hours a day, 20 hours weekly. The schedule will be Monday - Friday either in the morning or late afternoon, 6:00 am – 10:00 am or 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. This position is non-exempt, with a base pay range of $20 - 24 per hour (equivalent to 41,000 – 49,000 annually). Salary ranges may vary by regional location and do not include premiums.

The base pay range for this role is $20 - 24 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule will be Monday - Friday either in the morning or late afternoon, 6:00 am – 10:00 am or 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
