Part-Time Evening Field Support Lead – Trash & Recycling Valet – Utah County – TRUCK REQUIRED

Shifts run 3–5 hours per evening, Monday through Friday, starting around 5:30 PM. Prior experience is helpful but not required. Full training provided.

Responsibilities
- Support nightly trash and recycling valet routes across apartment communities each evening
- Monitor routes and provide on-site support to Valet Porters, stepping in to perform collection duties when coverage is needed
- Collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors and transport materials to onsite dumpsters, chutes, or compactors
- Inspect recycling for contamination and ensure proper separation
- Check in/out while documenting your route using a mobile app
- Issue courtesy compliance notices and upload required photos
- Clean up loose trash near dumpsters and compactor areas
- Assist with training new team members and complete quality audits
- Occasionally service pet waste stations
Schedule
- Monday through Friday evenings only
- Typical start time is 5:30 PM with shifts running 3–5 hours
- Most nights you'll be done by 11 PM
- Shift length may vary based on property size, coverage needs, or seasonal factors
- No weekends required
Pay
- $20–$25/hour depending on assignment and site requirements
- Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate
- Typical weekly hours range from 15–20
Physical Requirements
- Extensive walking throughout apartment communities
- Ascending and descending stairs at some properties
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- All work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements
- A personal open-bed pickup truck is required for this position
- Must be 18 or older with a valid Utah driver's license and current auto insurance
- A smartphone with an active data plan and location services enabled is required
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must meet the physical demands of the role
- Must be available Monday through Friday evenings
- Willingness to travel throughout Southern Salt Lake Valley and Utah County
Reliable, professional, and self-motivated candidates are encouraged to apply. Prior valet trash, porter, or field operations experience is a plus but not required. We train everyone.
