Part Time ESE Instructional Assistant at Bishop Larkin Catholic School

Position Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in providing instruction and accommodations for students with unique learning needs.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups for remediation, skill-building, and enrichment.
• Reinforce behavior support strategies and social-emotional growth.
• Aid students with organization, task completion, and following directions.
• Help create and prepare learning materials and resources.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal as assigned.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ESE students or students with diverse learning needs.
• Background in education, special education, child development, or related field.
• Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school.
