Role Overview
GrowWise Learning is seeking an experienced English Instructor to teach students from elementary through high school, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills.Grade Levels Covered
- Elementary School: Grades 1–5 (Reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar basics) - Middle School: Grades 6–8 (Analytical reading, writing structure, grammar) - High School: Grades 9–12 (Academic writing, literary analysis, college essay writing)Key Responsibilities
- Teach English concepts in a group classroom setting
- Support reading comprehension, writing fluency, and grammar mastery
- Guide middle and high school students in academic and college essay writing
- Maintain student progress and learning milestones
- Contribute to content preparation, including:
- Reviewing and improving lesson materials
- Aiding with writing prompts, reading selections, and assessments
- Alligning content with school standards and expectations
Foster Confidence, Critical Thinking, and Strong Communication Skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of English teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong expertise in reading, writing, and grammar
- College essay writing experience required for middle and high school instruction
- Comfortable working with students across grade levels
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
