Responsibilities

- Tailor lessons to each student's unique needs and learning style. - Implement a gradual release approach to build student confidence and academic success. - Focus solely on teaching, with no additional work such as lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading. - Participate in professional development to enhance your teaching skills.

Requirements

- A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics—anything that fuels your passion!). - Patience and empathy for diverse learning needs. - A genuine passion for sharing your subject with students. - Proficiency in using Google Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS). - Ability to provide fingerprints (Arizona and Washington state only) and pass a federal background check.

Bonus Qualifications

- Orton Gillingham training. - Teaching certification (though not required). - Advanced degree in a specific subject area. - Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
