Brightmont Academy offers a unique part-time teaching opportunity focused on one-to-one instruction for students in grades 1–12. Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one instruction in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or related subjects
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or a related subject area
• Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students’ unique learning journeys
• A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with students
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA only) and pass a federal background check

Qualifications (Bonus)

• Orton Gillingham training
• A teaching certification (nice to have, but not required)
• An advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise
• Previous one-to-one teaching experience
