Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Teach assigned class(es) in accordance with expectations specified by the Director of EMS.
- Develop scenarios, lesson plans, and test questions.
- Assess student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment to include assigning grades.
- Prepare students for state and national paramedic certification exams.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to students on performance, skills, affective behavior and professional development.
- Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards.
- Meet required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested.
Qualifications
- Maryland EMT certification.
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a EMT.
- Prior teaching experience with an accredited paramedic program; MFRI Instructor or NAEMSE Instructor.
- Bachelor's degree in EMS or related field (preferred).
Skills
- Ability to develop and implement educational programs.
- Experience with state and national paramedic certification exams.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Pay
$1,114 - $1,203 per FLH
Schedule
This position requires some regular in-person presence on campus or at alternative locations, depending on business needs of the office.
