Part-Time Emergency Department RN

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct, high-level emergency nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Delivering evidenced-based, comprehensive patient care; prioritizing safety and quality; precepting new healthcare staff; and contributing to a collaborative, innovative clinical environment. Qualifications & Skills: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license, and have at least 6 months of nursing experience. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and trauma-specific courses such as TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, and Trauma Nurse Core Course. Additional certifications like CPI and advanced trauma care are preferred. Key Duties: Managing emergency cases up to and including trauma level 1, supporting safety and quality initiatives, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
