Part-Time Emergency Department RN

About the role

This position involves providing direct, high-level emergency nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidenced-based, comprehensive patient care
• Prioritize safety and quality
• Precept new healthcare staff
• Contribute to a collaborative, innovative clinical environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Hold an active RN license
• At least 6 months of nursing experience

Skills

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Trauma-specific courses such as TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, and Trauma Nurse Core Course
• CPI certification (preferred)
• Advanced trauma care certification (preferred)

Key Duties

• Manage emergency cases up to and including trauma level 1
• Support safety and quality initiatives
• Engage in ongoing professional development
