Part Time Educator (Union Ridge)

About the role

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates each day during daily program meetings.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Prepare and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare/school setting.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR certification (within 30 days of employment).
• Cleared tuberculosis test (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Proof of MMR (if required can documentation can be provided).
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Pay

Hourly wage starting at $17.00-$20.00 (based on education, experience).

Schedule

Before School and After School. Monday through Friday, No Weekends!!
