Part Time Educator (Union Ridge)

About the role

Right At School provides before and after-school extended day programs for local school districts. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates daily during program meetings.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Prepare and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals.
• Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare/school setting.
• First Aid and CPR certification (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Proof of MMR (documentation can be provided).
• 18+ years of age.

Pay

Hourly Wage Starting at $17.00-$20.00 (based on education, experience).

Schedule

Before School and After School. Monday through Friday, No Weekends!!
