About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering a safe, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Drive the mission by leading daily program meetings to review goals, updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and foster team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives, ensuring they are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management, addressing potential hazards, and following all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Prioritize safety and joy by monitoring the environment and addressing potential hazards.
• Lead by example, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and grow.
• Works well in a team environment and has outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Has at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Can lift up to 25 lbs.
• Is flexible to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet state-specific requirements.
• Must have completed a First Aid and CPR course in person.
• Must have a tuberculosis test cleared.
• Must provide proof of MMR vaccination.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Pay

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 8:30am AND 2:50pm to 6:00pm.
