About the role

Right At School provides safe, fun, and meaningful extended-day enrichment programs for students in 17 states. The position involves organizing program materials, delivering dynamic daily curriculum, and maintaining a safe environment for children.

Responsibilities

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities
  • Document attendance, incidents, and other observations
  • Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children
  • Meet regularly with the Program Manager for professional progress and team accountability

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a minimum of six (6) units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificate
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • State-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician)

Pay

$19-$21/hour (dependent on education & experience)

Schedule

Mo-Thu 2:00pm-6:00pm, Friday 12:45pm-6:00pm
