About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Communicate Effectively: Work well in a team environment and communicate with a varied audience.
• Experience with Children: At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Lift Capacity: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility: Be willing to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Education: Proof of High School diploma/GED required.

Pay

$16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 7:00-8:45am and 2:50-6:00PM
