Part Time Educator - Revere Local Schools

About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Drive the mission by leading daily program meetings to review goals, updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and ensure team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives, including structured fitness, activities, and curriculum designed to be both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management, monitoring the environment, addressing potential hazards, and following all safety protocols.
• Prioritize safety and joy by documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations, and communicating effectively with a varied audience including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Pay

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 8:35am AND 3:15pm to 6:00pm.
