About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs for local school districts. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering safe, engaging environments for children.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
• Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• California Requirements: Meet state-specific requirements, pass a LIVE Scan fingerprint background check, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, and obtain a Health Screening Certificate with a Negative Tuberculosis Test from a physician.
• Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older.
• Legal Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S.
