About the role

Right At School has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for over a decade, serving more than 35,000 students across 17 states. Responsibilities

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
  • Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
  • Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability.

Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
  • College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field preferred.
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Met state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$22-24 per hour (based on education & experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 1pm - 6pm (no weekends)
