Job Description

Right At School – a place to be a kid! – provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

About the role

You’ll drive the mission by leading daily program meetings, organizing and facilitating daily activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Ideal candidates will have outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills, works well in a team environment, and has flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives.
  • Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals.
  • Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.00-$20.00 (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Program Hours: Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
