About the role

Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field OR Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 5 years old

Qualifications

• New York State Requirements: First Aid and CPR-in-person training, Cleared tuberculosis test, Proof of MMR, 18+ years of age, Proof of High School diploma/GED required

Pay

$17.00-$20.00 (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
