Rights at School has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade, serving over 35,000 students in 17 states. Our programs include after school, before school, and break camp options, offering a place for students to learn, play, grow, and be kids.

About the Role

As an educator, you'll play a crucial part in fostering a love of learning and supporting schools and families. You'll be responsible for organizing materials, delivering engaging curriculum, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for children.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials and document attendance, incidents, and observations
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social development
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
• Maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager for professional development and accountability

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Pass relevant certifications such as CPR, Mandated Reporter training, and TB test

Pay

$16-$19 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 6:45 AM-9:00 AM and 3:15 PM-6:00 PM
