About the role

Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
  • Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives; lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management; monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols.
  • Prioritize Safety and Joy: Document attendance, incidents, and other observations; communicate effectively with a varied audience including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Qualifications

  • State-Specific Requirements
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Cleared Tuberculosis Test
  • Age 18+
  • Preferred CDA
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 30 college credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field
  • High School Diploma/GED with at least 600 hours of secondary training
  • High School Diploma/GED with 15 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field plus 1 year of experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with 2 years experience

Pay

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
