Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
• Monitor Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for children.
• Communicate Effectively: Work with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Teamwork: Works well in a team environment.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Flexibility: Support additional local programs as needed.
• Bilingual: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• California Requirements: Meet state-specific requirements.
• Cleared Tuberculosis Test and Health Screening: Required.
• Authorization to Work in the US: Required.
• High School Diploma/GED: Proof required.
• Livescan Fingerprint Background Check: Cleared.
